This article presents an analysis from the information management of the relationship between climate change and the productive sector, to evidence and analyze the current and future situation that the referred relationship has in a specific territory, such as the department of Huila, Colombia. For this, we theorize about climate change, the productive sector, and information management, in order to build a methodology that,
based on documentary analysis, the conduction of interviews with experts and the application of a population survey, allows us to indicate the current and potential impact of the situation, define the adaptive capacity of the region and detect its vulnerability to changes caused by climate change. All this to be able to propose alternatives that make it possible to cope, in the best possible way, with the current transformation of the territory, its conditions, and its implications
