RESÚMENThis project was development in a company belonging to the construction sector called Q3R metallic structures, located in Yumbo / Valle. His fundamental activity is based on the execution of projects, through the manufacture and assembly of metal structures for the construction of warehouses, hangars, buildings, among others. Currently, the company uses the Unit Price Analysis method, which estimates the overall cost of the projects through the addition of previously established items. Today, there is no system that manages to delimit and correctly specify how many the expenses of the company are and if these manage to be equal to the budgeted in each of the projects. Therefore, the objective of this project is to design a cost system for the company of metallic structures, in such a way that the costs associated with the fabrication of metallic structures are correctly established, which also provides support in the management decision making and improve the competitiveness of the processes. For this reason, a cost system for the company was generated through Excel that allows it to identify and analyze the data concerning the cost elements, in order to quote the projects in a more effective and accurate way, besides generating the profits expected by the company, greatly reducing the losses that may arise unexpectedly due to inadequate information management.
