The purpose of this study is to identify the reasons for buying sports bets online from young people aged 18 to 24 in the city of Santiago de Cali. This research is generated by the need to take advantage of opportunities in the sports betting market in the city of Cali in this segment, through the exploration with a mixed approach (qualitative-quantitative), in which two instruments were used: the survey to punters and interviews with experts and some punters. The results allowed the online gamblers to be characterized between 18 and 24 years of the city of Santiago de Cali, to identify and prioritize the service attributes that these young people value when placing bets online in Cali
